Oatmeal Pizza
What like about oatmeal pizza is:
It is very nutritious and
delicious adn i can put the ingredients that i like.
INGREDIENTS
For the oatmeal pizza dough
you need:
·
One cup of
oatmeal
·
Two eggs
·
A quarter
teaspoon of baking powder
·
One cup of
water
·
A quarter
teaspoon of salt
·
One large
garlic clove
For coverage you need
·
A quarter
of kilo of grate mozzarella cheese, (or your preference)
·
Fried
tomatoe sauce, (you can use “4 cheese Hunts sauce)
·
Ham,
sausage, mushrooms, or what ever ingredient you want to add
Step by step elaboration
1.- Pre heat the oven to 200ºC
2.-Blend the oats in a food
processor or blender with the eggs, salt, water, garlic clove and baking
powder. The dough should be similar to that of pancakes, if it is very thick
add more water, otherwise, add more oats.
3.- Cover the tray with wax
paper and pour the dough over it, giving in a circular shape with the help o a
spoon.
4.- Bake the oatmeal pizza
dough for eight to ten minutes.
5.- Remove from oven and turn
the dough, add the tomatoe sauce.
6.- Sprinkle with grated
mozzarella cheese and place the ingredient of your linking.
7.- Take the pizza back to the
oven for a few minutes, lower the temperature to 180ºC.
8.- Remove the pizza from the
oven and cut into slice.
If you don´t have an oven,
another option is to cook it in a nonstick skillet on the stove
1.- Place a part of the
mixture and spread over the nonstick skillet (not too thick) and cook both
side.
2.- Remove from the nonstick
skillet and add the toamtoe sauce.
3.- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese
and place the ingredient of your linking (ham, sausage …).
4.- Return to the nonstick
skillet and cover until the cheese is completely melted.
And it is ready to enjoy!!!
My recommendation is:
You can put fresh vegetables.
When you craving for pizza you
can make this oatmeal and it won´t hurt you.
